We're Ryan and Colette Cochrane, the founding team behind Perch. As native Oregonians, we've spent more than fifteen years in the talent recruitment industry, partnering with companies of all sizes across the Portland metro area and beyond. From a startup making its first critical hire to national brands building large teams, we've been part of a wide range of hiring journeys.

We founded Perch in 2023 because we wanted to do this work differently. Not faster or at higher volume, but more personally. We believe recruiting works best when it's built on real relationships, honest communication, and a genuine investment in the people and companies we work with.

As a family team with deep roots in Portland, the work we do feels personal because it is. We take pride in being part of this community and in the role we get to play in helping the businesses and people within it grow.
